• Joan Myers Brown, PHILADANCO
• Abiodun Oyewole, The Last Poets
• Odean Pope, Saxophonist
• Mickey Roker (posthumously), Drummer
• Sumi Tonooka, Pianist
• Tony Williams, Saxophonist
