Singular Records

Singular Records was a Philadelphia-based independent label owned by Artie Singer. Singular’s first hit was Danny and the Juniors’ “At the Hop.”

Singular relaunched the career of pioneering soul singer Solomon Burke.

In 2001, Philly native Burke, aka the “King of Rock and Soul,” was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
